When should you involve a fire safety specialist?

A fire risk assessment specifies a category such as L1, L2, L3, L4, L5 or P systems.
The client needs design, installation, commissioning or handover certification.
The project includes sleeping risk, care premises, commercial units or complex escape routes.
You are unsure about detector spacing, sound levels, false alarm risk, emergency lighting coverage or documentation.
You want the work independently checked before handover.
